The Alliance for Medical Outreach and Relief (AMOR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to healthcare and social services in rural and underserved communities. AMOR used NMTC financing to develop a 20,000 sq. ft. multi-structure, eco-friendly wellness campus in West Fresno County that provides comprehensive health and wellness services through a network of Community Benefit Organizations. The AMORE Wellness Center serves low-income children and families from surrounding rural communities, including Mendota, Firebaugh, San Joaquin, and Tranquility, delivering holistic mental and physical health care, education, and support services.
It houses key tenants such as Madera Community Hospital, Fresno Department of Behavioral Health, United Way, and West Hills Community College, along with nonprofit organizations offering medical, behavioral health, education, and social services. The facility includes medical offices, classrooms, and community gathering spaces, ensuring a holistic approach to care that integrates physical and mental health, education, and workforce development opportunities.
