Founded in 1955, San Diego Rescue Mission (SDRM) is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to providing housing, addiction recovery support, and workforce development training for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. With a holistic approach to recovery, SDRM integrates mental health services, life skills education, and job placement assistance to create long-term pathways to self-sufficiency.
SDRM used NMTC financing to expand its 12-month residential recovery program, increasing its capacity to provide stable housing, case management, and job training services. The program ensures access to mental health and trauma-informed counseling, strengthening the organization’s ability to deliver a comprehensive continuum of care for men, women, and single parents experiencing homelessness.
