Logan Heights Community Development Corporation (LHCDC), a minority-controlled nonprofit, is dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and businesses in Greater Logan Heights through education, economic development, and housing initiatives. The community, home to over 55,000 residents, is 96% minority and faces persistent economic disparities, with over 40% of families living in poverty.
With NMTC financing, LHCDC is expanding youth development and economic programs, launching new housing and community initiatives, and advancing the development of the Future Achievers Academy Charter School. This investment strengthens wraparound services, including job training, financial literacy, small business support, and educational resources, ensuring that residents have the tools to achieve long-term economic stability.
